Friends-A Meeting Place was constructed in 2007. The parent company is Kim's Kids, Inc.  Friends is operated by manager, Jean McClendon. Members of our staff are available daily for tours, reservations and information. Special appointment times to fit your schedule can be arranged. You set the date and time, and we stand ready to ensure that you and your guests have a great event, whether it be a special birthday party, a rehearsal dinner or a wedding.       The facility consists of 9200 square feet of beautifully appointed space. There is an open and airy entrance with a water feature, grand piano, and fireplace. When you rent the facility, you have access to the entire venue, so that you are not concerned with other sounds and activities from another party. The staff is entirely dedicated to making YOUR event a success. There is no additional charge for round tables, linens, set up, basic decorations, clean up, and parking.       The professional kitchen is well equipped, clean, and has passed all local health inspections. Safety, quality, taste, and your budget, are all concerns at Friends. All foods are prepared fresh and specifically for your event. Only fresh poultry and meat are used. Friends avoids prepared foods as much as possible. As an example, our macaroni and cheese is made from cooked macaroni, cheese, eggs, milk, butter and seasonings!   Alcohol must be contracted through the Friends bartender. Friends is a quality facility where you can meet and greet your friends--all within the City of St. Louis. We are just 2 blocks from the new Chaevitz-St. Louis U. 			Catering Services at Friends Friends-A Meeting Place offers the finest in catering services.  The foods are cooked fresh for each event, and frozen and pre packaged foods are not used.  We take pride in our food and in the quality of our service.  Each event is of the upmost importance to us.

			The lady at the front door Friends has a special lady who sits at the front door and brings us good luck.  Our mascot (MS COT) dresses for each event..  She has no head, but a lot of heart.   We think she is quite spectacular.  Twist your head to the side and take a good look at her.
